Roland Grad is a practicing family doctor and associate professor of Family Medicine at McGill University. In his research, he studies how doctors, nurses and pharmacists use clinical information to improve health care and the health of their patients.
Since 2001, Roland has worked to develop, validate and implement a tool called the Information Assessment Method. To improve the performance of health professionals, research is needed to discover better ways to improve how health professionals learn, retain and apply clinical information. The Information Assessment Method was designed for research purposes, and is now widely used in national continuing education programs.
