Objectives

Upon completion of this workshop, participants should be able to:

1. Describe the C-CHANGE initiative related to cardiovascular guidelines and the state of hypertension in Canada

2. Apply appropriate methods for making a diagnosis of HTN

3. Identify evidence-based threshold and target blood pressures (based on risk category)

4. Integrate guidelines for HTN management
