  • Discuss breast cancer screening guidelines for average risk Canadian women
  • Determine which patients may benefit from supplemental imaging or earlier initiation of screening
  • Describe the advantages of screening with digital breast tomosynthesis

  • HI Thanks for the great talk. I have two questions: 1. The radiology centre I use reports breast density as a percentage. What is the % cutoff in order to order U/S in conjuction with mammography for screening? 2. If a woman get a digital tomosynthesis, why would a regular mammography be needed as well? Thanks
