An overview on the diagnosis of chronic wounds and how to select the appropriate dressings for their management.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Distingush the features of Arterial, Pressure, Venous and Diabetic wounds
  • Have an approach to the selection of wound care dressings
  • Be comfortable giving advice regarding good foot and nail care to prevent wounds
