Overview

In this lecture, we will cover some basic principles and helpful hints which may help physicians counsel their patients when they start to exercise or have complaints during their training.  

Objectives

Objectives:

  1. Review general principles of starting exercise
  2. Learn how to differentiate between common soft tissue overuse injuries as compared to more serious complaints such as stress fractures, cartilage tears, and arthritis
  3. Review some issues in more advanced exercise
