Adjunct professor in the department of family medicine at McGill University.

Dr. Allen Steverman obtained his bachelor of arts (psychology) at McGill University and his medical degree at the Université de Montréal. He completed his residency in family medicine at McGill as well as a graduate certificate in chronic pain management also at McGill. He is an attending physician at the Pain Management Centre of the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal as well as a faculty member of Programs in Whole Person Care at McGill. His clinical work is primarily focused on chronic pain management and he has developed a particular interest in mindfulness based approaches to chronic pain management.
