Silvia Duong is a clinical pharmacist at the Jewish General Hospital in the Goldman Herzl Family Practice Centre and the Herzl CRIU Walk-in Centre. 

 

Dr. Duong received her Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Toronto, followed by a specialty residency in ambulatory care at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto. After earning her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the U of T, she joined the JGH Pharmacy Department and the multidisciplinary team of the Herzl CRIU Walk-in Centre. 

 

Silvia is currently a preceptor for pharmacy residents, whom she supervises in a clinical setting to enable them to get practical experience with patients. She is also involved in the teaching of family medicine residents. Her research interest focuses on the self-management of patients and the use of medications in an ambulatory setting.
