Born and raised in Montreal. Graduated McGill Medical School in 1985.After completing a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Toronto, a subsequent 2 year fellowship in Urogynecology (McLaughlin fellow) split between Toronto (Mount Sinai Hospital) and London,England ( St-Mark's Hospital). Following this, a return to Toronto on staff at Mount Sinai Hospital working with Dr Harold Drutz in the hospital's urogynecology unit  treating female urinary incontinence and prolapse.After 4 years, back to Montreal with a staff position at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital (U of Montreal affiliated) in the Obs-Gyn department and a consultant position in the Urology department at the Jewish General Hospital in the female urology clinic. Continuing a very busy clinical practice in urogynecology coupled with the position of chief of the Obs-Gyn department at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital where I am currnetlystill based.
