Even though SARS-SARS-2 has not really 'gone away', international travel has begum again in earnest and many people and their physicians are once again balancing the benefits and (infectious) risks of moving around the globe. This workshop will focus on practical questions around the use of vaccines in travellers heading for both routine and more exotic destinations.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the range of infectious risks to which routine and exotic travelers are exposed
  • Understand the complexities of making vaccine recommendations for some travelers
  • Help patients to make informed decisions about seeking out travel vaccines
