Dr. Huang is a full Professor of Medicine with the University of Ottawa and the Head of the Division of Geriatric Medicine at the University of Ottawa and The Ottawa Hospital. He is a graduate of McGill University and has been the past director of the Division of Geriatric Medicine at the McGill University Health Center and the Geriatric Medicine residency program. In addition to busy geriatrics clinical service delivery and teaching activities, he has a long-standing interest in clinical informatics and he is the co-inventor of the Medical Office of the XXIst century (MOXXI) electronic prescribing solution which has provided a platform on which more than 20-years of research into optimal prescribing and expert decision support has been developed.
