Dr. Robert Carlin is Family Physician from CLSC Métro in Montréal. He has been a primary care physician for 24 years, having started his professional career in Chisasibi in Eeyou Istchee before moving back to Montreal. He spent 18 years working in public health working for the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay as a medical advisor for their infection control programs and then as their regional public health director. Currently, he assists the Department of Family Medicine with their residency programs. He is the Course Director for the UGME CHAP course, where students work with various community organizations as part of their second-year medical training. He enjoys camping, cross-country skiing, cycling, and cooking with friends.
