Dr. Jacqueline Joza is an attending cardiac electrophysiologist and assistant professor of medicine at the McGill University Health Centre. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Queen's University and Universite Claude Bernarde, Lyon, and her medical degree from the University of Western Ontario. Her internal medicine and cardiology residency training was completed at McGill University. She subsequently completed a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at New York University Langone, specializing in inherited arrhythmia disorders and cardiovascular genetics. In addition to caring for patients with general arrhythmias and inherited arrhythmia disorders (long QT syndrome, catecholaminergic polymorphic VT, Brugada, Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy, etc..), Dr. Joza has special interest in VT ablation, leadless pacemaker implantation, and new techniques in ICD implantation. Current research focus in population evaluation of catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation, conduction system pacing and familial sick sinus syndrome.
